Product Description

Veterinary Injectable Phenylbutazone 20% Dexamethasone Injection for Horses, 100ml

Composition (Each ml contains):
• Phenylbutazone: 200mg
• Dexamethasone (as sodium phosphate): 0.38 mg
• Excipient: Q.S.P. 100 ml

Mechanism of Action:

Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid family member acting on all body cells. It provides potent immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory actions by inhibiting lytic enzymes released during inflammation and stress, while decreasing macrophage phagocytosis.

Phenylbutazone, an NSAID, works differently by inhibiting prostaglandin effects that produce pain and fever. It interferes with early-stage inflammation, reduces vascular permeability, and prevents edema and diapedesis.

Combined, these ingredients provide predominant anti-inflammatory and pain relief results.
