1
Mechanism of Action:
Dexamethasone is a member of the glucocorticoid family, providing immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory actions. It inhibits lytic enzymes released during inflammation and stress, while decreasing phagocytosis by macrophages. Phenylbutazone, an NSAID, inhibits prostaglandins to block pain, inflammation, and fever. It reduces vascular permeability to prevent edema and diapedesis. The combination ensures predominant anti-inflammatory and pain relief effects.
