Veterinary Injectable Phenylbutazone 20% Dexa Injection for Horses
Dexa: A member of the glucocorticoid family, it exerts immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory actions. It inhibits lytic enzymes released during inflammation and severe stress, and decreases phagocytosis by macrophages.
Phenylbutazone: An NSAID that inhibits prostaglandin production to block pain, inflammation, and fever. It reduces vascular permeability in early-stage inflammation, preventing edema and diapedesis.
The combination provides synergistic anti-inflammatory and predominant pain relief.
Used as an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic. Specifically for musculoskeletal inflammations such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, laminitis, and tendonitis in horses.
