| Indications | Mainly used to treat animal diseases caused by Theileria, especially bovine Theileriosis (East African and Tropical Bovine Theileriosis). Effective for both acute and chronic cases. |
| Usage and Dosage |
General: 2.5 mg/kg body weight for intramuscular injection. Repeat after 48-72 hours if necessary. Pigs: 0.5-1g per 1L drinking water (3-5 days). Chickens: 0.5g per 1L drinking water (3-5 days). Cattle/Sheep: 50mg tylosin and 20mg doxycycline per 1kg body weight in feed/drink (3-5 days). |
| Adverse Reactions | Possible local reactions at the injection site (redness, swelling, or pain). |
| Precautions | Avoid overdose. Disinfect injection site strictly. Observe animal reaction closely; stop medication if allergic reactions occur. Contraindicated for animals allergic to bupavaquin. |
